BIO

Bringing together more than 35 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing and facility management, EDWARD KACAL is helping advance FM as a strategic profession across the Caribbean and beyond. As CEO of Servus Limited, he has led the integrated FM company through significant growth and expansion, strengthening profitability, technical execution and service delivery. He also serves as President and Professional Development Chair of the IFMA Caribbean Chapter, where he is helping expand opportunities for FM professionals across the region.

Edward’s career spans senior executive and board leadership, organizational transformation, education and professional advocacy. Before joining Servus, he led acquisitions, mergers, operational transformations and culture-change initiatives within the manufacturing sector. Today, his impact extends across IFMA through leadership roles with the BIZ Community, Global Audit Committee, Manufacturing Community, Americas Advisory Board and FM Consultants Council. He is also actively involved in FM standards and policy development, including ISO 41000-related work and initiatives to strengthen FM policy and competency standards in the Caribbean. His contributions have earned him IFMA’s 2025 Distinguished Member Award and the FM Consultants Council’s 2024 Kit Tuveson Award.

With a BSc and MBA, along with PMP, SFP and CFM credentials, Edward pairs business leadership with a commitment to developing the next generation of FM professionals. A former lecturer at The University of the West Indies and an IFMA-qualified instructor, he continues to teach and speak internationally on FM, leadership, strategy, change management and service excellence. Whether through education, advocacy or industry leadership, Edward remains focused on professionalizing FM and strengthening its role in organizational performance, resilience and sustainability.
