Blending architectural expertise with strategic leadership, FERNANDA CARVALHO brings more than 15 years of experience across Facilities Management, Workplace and Real Estate, leading complex operations and transformation across multiple industries. As Head of Workplace & Real Estate in Brazil for a global organization, she leads a large-scale operation spanning seven sites and supporting an ecosystem of more than 100,000 employees. Her approach connects people, workplace experience, technology, financial performance and sustainability to create environments where people and businesses can thrive.

Fernanda’s career spans healthcare, hospitality, industrial, financial services and technology, giving her a broad perspective on how FM can create value across different business environments. She has led initiatives spanning operational transformation, automation, systems integration, governance, CAPEX and OPEX, Real Estate, maintenance, supplier management, ESG, sustainability, wellbeing and employee experience. Working in fast-moving and complex environments, she balances strategic decision-making with a strong connection to day-to-day operations.

Beyond operational performance, Fernanda is passionate about developing people and elevating the role of FM within organizations. As a mentor, speaker and educator, she works to make FM knowledge more accessible and practical while encouraging emerging leaders to challenge traditional models and imagine new possibilities for the profession.
