Turning sustainability ambition into practical action, YVETTE WATSON helps organizations move from circularity goals to meaningful, systemic change. As co-founder of PHI Factory, she works at the intersection of sustainable business operations, circular procurement and innovative building solutions, helping organizations rethink how they operate, collaborate and create long-term value. Her work is grounded in the belief that lasting transformation happens when sustainability becomes part of everyday decisions, not simply a long-term ambition.

Yvette’s career combines facility management expertise with more than a decade of experience addressing sustainability challenges across the industry. After earning a degree in Facility Management and spending 12 years working on sustainability initiatives, she made the leap into entrepreneurship in 2016, building an expanding company and movement within the FM sector. Today, she helps organizations measure environmental impact, collaborate across supply chains and activate sustainable behaviors among both decision-makers and employees.

Beyond her work with PHI Factory, Yvette contributes to sustainability and innovation initiatives across the Netherlands. She is involved with the Dutch Green Building Council’s Deltaplan Sustainable Renovation, FMN’s Circular and Inclusive Economy Expert Group and transition initiatives within the building industry. Through speaking engagements, workshops and industry discussions, she brings practical perspectives to the challenges of sustainable transformation and encourages professionals to use their expertise to make their work smarter and more sustainable.

Her leadership in sustainability has earned significant recognition, including being named No. 1 on the ABN AMRO Sustainable 50 in 2021, the Netherlands’ annual benchmark for sustainability leadership in construction and real estate. Across her entrepreneurial and industry work, Yvette remains focused on one goal: turning collective action into systemic change and helping organizations build a more sustainable and regenerative future.
