A trusted voice in Australia’s facilities management landscape, CHARLES HAMMERSLA, CFM, LLB, has spent more than 20 years leading high-performing teams and complex portfolios across the retail and commercial sectors. Known for his steady leadership and operational depth, he brings clarity and consistency to every space he manages. 

Charles has led national facilities teams at NAB and Kmart Group, overseeing more than 1,000 sites across Australia and New Zealand. Now as key account director at ISS Facility Services, he manages service delivery for one of the country’s largest banks, guiding strategy while staying grounded in day-to-day performance. 

His leadership is defined by accountability, precision and care. Recognized as the 2021 Facilities Manager of the Year by the Facilities Management Association of Australia, Charles sets the standard for excellence in service delivery.
