With a career spanning the U.S., from Michigan to Hawaii, DEREK BACIGAL, FMP, SFP, is a recognized leader in luxury hospitality facility management. His expertise in design, construction, sustainability and operations has shaped premier properties and communities across the country. 

Based in Hawaii for over a decade, Derek has held senior roles with CBRE, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, the U.S. Army and Kukio Golf & Beach Club. His leadership has consistently elevated service quality, advanced green initiatives and delivered high-impact results. 

A dedicated IFMA leader, he has served as director at large for the Hawaii Chapter, led the Young Professionals group, and now chairs the IFMA Americas Advisory Board. His influence extends across the profession, from mentoring future leaders to shaping regional FM strategies.
