With over 30 years of global experience, PETER ANKERSTJERNE, MBA, COP, IFMA Fellow, is a recognized leader in facility management, service strategy and workplace innovation. From his early days at ISS, where he served as group chief marketing officer for 24 years, to leadership roles at Wework and JLL, Peter has consistently driven forward-thinking change. 

Now CEO of the Planon Group, Peter continues to shape the future of FM combining strategy, digital transformation and operational excellence to enhance workplace experiences worldwide. 

A longstanding IFMA leader, Peter served on IFMA’s Global Board of Directors from 2016 to 2023, including two years as chair. His legacy includes advancing global FM standards and strengthening IFMA’s international presence. With deep roots in marketing and strategic leadership, Peter is not just influencing the FM industry, he is guiding it into a smarter, more connected future.
