A leading voice in African property and facility management, PIERRE KRIEGLER, AFP, CFPROF, SAFMA, has spent over a decade shaping how the built environment is managed, maintained and modernized across the continent. His work spans high-rise towers, luxury estates and commercial properties — each project reflecting his commitment to operational excellence, sustainability and community impact. 

As general manager at Capemay Properties Ltd., Pierre built a full-service property management division from the ground up, introducing systems that deliver both financial transparency and service innovation. He has led major developments, including Selton Skye — one of West Africa’s tallest buildings — where he integrated sustainable infrastructure and guided the project toward EDGE certification. 

Pierre is deeply engaged in strengthening FM across Africa. He serves as the African Facilities Management Association’s ambassador to South Africa and contributes to regional industry development through IFMA, SAFMA and SAIOSH. Whether in boardrooms or on stage at industry conferences, he is helping define FM as a cornerstone of Africa’s urban future.
