Isaac Owusu Adjakwah

Mr. Isaac Owusu Adjakwah is a Facility Management Professional (FMP) with over 19 years of experience in Facility and Healthcare Technology Management in the Aviation and Healthcare sectors. He specializes in devising, developing, and managing facilities, healthcare technology (HTM), and project management solutions. Since 2007, he has led the management of aviation and healthcare technology, support services, and human capital management.

Mr. Adjakwah holds an MBA in Engineering Management from Coventry University, UK, and a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Engineering from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen, Germany. He also has a Diploma in Project Management and Design from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK, and an HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Takoradi Technical University. He is the Board Chairman of the Ghana Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and Director for Partnerships at the African Facilities Management Association (AFM).

Olalekan O. Akinwumi

Olalekan O. Akinwumi

ESV Olalekan O. Akinwumi is a highly accomplished Estate Surveyor and Valuer, bringing over two decades of expertise in property and facilities management, real estate brokerage, property valuation, and consultancy services. As the CEO of Lekan Akinwumi & Co., he oversees a firm known for its excellence in delivering comprehensive real estate solutions.

Olalekan plays a pivotal role in shaping the industry's standards and practices. He serves as a distinguished Board Member of the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria, where he contributes to regulatory frameworks and professional development initiatives within the sector. Additionally, he holds the esteemed position of President of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Lagos Nigeria Chapter, leading efforts to promote excellence and innovation in facility management across Lagos.

Olalekan's leadership is characterized by a steadfast commitment to advancing the real estate profession in Nigeria, driving growth, and fostering industry-wide collaboration and development.

Segun Debayo

Segun Adebayo

Mr. Adebayo is a distinguished professional with a robust portfolio in facility management and leadership within professional associations. A member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply Management and a certified Facility Management Professional (FMP), he has been actively involved with the International Facility Management Association, Lagos, Nigeria Chapter since 2015. His tenure includes serving as the Pioneer Publicity Secretary from 2015 to 2018, Vice President from 2019 to 2020, and culminating in his role as the 13th President from 2020 to December 2022.

Throughout his career, Mr. Adebayo has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to advancing the field of facility management in Nigeria. His leadership has been instrumental in fostering professional development opportunities, promoting best practices, and enhancing the visibility of the profession within the region. Mr. Adebayo's strategic vision and dedication to excellence have earned him respect and admiration among peers and colleagues alike, solidifying his reputation as a key influencer in the facility management community.

Christa Dodoo

Christa Dodoo

Christa Dodoo is a facility management professional with over 20 years of experience in facility and real estate management. She holds certifications, including ISO 22301 Business Continuity Lead Implementer and credentials from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Currently, she oversees global asset management, HQ operations, and real estate support for the United Nations World Food Programme. Christa has worked with the International Atomic Energy Agency, the International Monetary Fund, Stanbic Bank, the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and Barclays Bank.

She holds a BSc in Land Economy from the University of Science and Technology, Ghana, and an MSc in Facilities Management from Salford University, UK. Active in IFMA since 2009, she helped establish the Ghana Chapter and has served on the Professional Development Committee. Christa is dedicated to advancing the FM industry through education and workplace process improvement.

Hakeem Olaonipekun

Hakeem is a distinguished professional serving as the Assistant General Secretary of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Nigeria Chapter. His educational background includes a degree in Accounting, complemented by an MBA in International Business Management and an Advanced Diploma in Facility Management & Safety, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

As the Chief Operating Officer of Anike Properties & Estate Company Ltd / APEC FM Global Consults, Hakeem leverages over two decades of expertise in facility management and real estate entrepreneurship. His career is marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation, evident in his strategic leadership roles within the industry. Hakeem's contributions extend beyond organizational success; he actively promotes best practices in facility management and fosters collaboration within the IFMA Nigeria Chapter.

Under his stewardship, both Anike Properties and APEC FM Global Consults have thrived, benefiting from his visionary approach and operational acumen. Hakeem's dedication to advancing the field of facility management underscores his influence and impact within the Nigerian business community and beyond.

Sampson Opare

Sampson Opare-Agyemang

Sampson Opare-Agyemang (FMP) is a Professional Facility Manager and vocational training instructor. He holds a degree in Constructing Architecture from VIA University, Denmark, and an MSc in European Construction Engineering from University Santander, Spain.

As CEO of Prolicon Plus Limited and founding partner of MaxFM Consortium, he is also the president of the International Facility Management Association of Ghana, promoting the Facility Management profession in Ghana.

Sampson is committed to Facility Management education in Ghana's tertiary institutions, helping develop relevant curricula. He has spoken at the African Facility Management Association conferences and facilitated a Joy FM Master Class on Facility Management.

Currently, Sampson serves as a Facility Management Facilitator at JPCann Training Centre in Accra.

Lara Paemen

Lara Paemen

Lara brings a wealth of expertise and leadership as the Managing Director of IFMA (International Facility Management Association) EMEA, serving as a vital bridge between IFMA's headquarters in Houston, Texas, and its diverse network of chapters, partners, and stakeholders across the region. In her role, Lara oversees the strategic direction and operational management of IFMA EMEA, ensuring alignment with global objectives while tailoring initiatives to regional needs.

Prior to her tenure at IFMA, Lara amassed 17 years of distinguished experience as a Strategic Workplace Consultant and Change Manager. Her career spanned impactful projects across Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Serbia, Spain, and the UK, where she demonstrated a keen understanding of workplace dynamics and organizational transformation. Lara's strategic insights and hands-on approach have consistently delivered innovative solutions that enhance workplace efficiency and employee satisfaction.

As a member of the IFMA EMEA Board, Lara continues to drive excellence in facility management practices, leveraging her extensive background to foster collaboration and advancement within the industry across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Augustine Affum Sarpong

Augustine Affum Sarpong

Augustine Sarpong is a seasoned professional serving as the Head of the Facility Management Unit at Absa Bank Ghana Limited. With over 15 years of extensive experience in managing residential, commercial, and industrial properties both in Ghana and the United Kingdom, Augustine has honed his expertise in optimizing operational efficiency and enhancing sustainability practices within the built environment. His role extends beyond traditional facility management, encompassing leadership in environmental sustainability initiatives and green building certifications. Augustine is particularly recognized for his proficiency in the EDGE Green Building Certification, aligning projects with global standards of sustainability.

At Absa Bank Ghana Limited, Augustine spearheads strategic initiatives aimed at integrating sustainable practices into facility management operations. His contributions include developing innovative tools and processes to streamline operations and maximize resource efficiency. Augustine also plays a pivotal role in advancing the World Bank/IFC Green Building Certification Program in his region, further underscoring his commitment to driving positive environmental impact through strategic facility management practices. His multifaceted career underscores his dedication to sustainability and excellence in facility management, making him a respected leader in the field.
